Rule-based trading software

brunevo: you set the risk limits. Your licensed broker holds the money.

brunevo rule-based trading software turns your own limits into orders. You decide how much to risk per trade and where to stop. The software places orders inside those limits, and your money stays with a licensed broker, never with us.

What brunevo rule-based trading software is, and what it is not

It is

  • A tool that places orders through a broker, inside limits you write down.
  • Free to use. Partner brokers pay us, as our About page explains.
  • Made by a registered UK company that you can look up.

It is not

  • A broker, a bank or an adviser. It never holds your money.
  • A prediction machine. It cannot know where prices will go.
  • A promise of results. People lose money trading, and you can lose all of yours.

A name is only a name. brunevo does not use artificial intelligence. It does not use quantum computing either, even though the company's legal name contains the word Quantum. It follows the rules you give it, and nothing else.

How your rules become orders

Rules go in, orders come out. You choose the risk per trade, the stop-loss and the markets. When a price meets your conditions, the software sends an order with the stop attached, and the broker fills it. The calculator shows how risk and stop distance decide position size. The simulation shows the idea of an order book.

Educational, in your account currency. A stop is an instruction, not a wall: in a fast market the fill can be worse than your stop, so the real loss can be larger. This is not advice.

What it costs, in plain numbers

The software costs nothing. Trading does cost money, and that part goes to the broker, not to us. Here is every line.

This is how it works with the executing brokers listed below. We apply no lock-up, holdback or withdrawal fee.

  1. Request the withdrawal in your broker account. Your money is there, not with us.
  2. The broker reviews the request, normally within 24 business hours.
  3. Once approved, the money goes back to the account it came from.
  4. It usually clears in 1 to 3 business days, depending on your bank.
  5. If anything stalls, write to us. We cannot move your money, but we will raise it with the broker alongside you.

How you can lose money, said plainly

  • Prices move against you and your stop is hit. That is the plan working, and it still costs money.
  • Prices jump past your stop in a fast market, so you are filled worse than planned.
  • Costs add up. Every trade pays the spread, and frequent trading pays it again and again.
  • Your rules stop working. A rule that fitted last year's prices can fail on next year's.
  • You raise the risk after a win, or to win a loss back. Both are common, and both hurt.

Losses are harder to undo than they look. After a 50% loss you need a 100% gain just to get back to where you started. Move the slider and see your own number. Our Risk Disclosure covers the rest.

Questions people ask

What is brunevo?

brunevo is rule-based trading software run by Quantum Software Technologies Ltd. You write down your limits, such as the risk per trade and where to place a stop-loss, and the software places orders inside them through a licensed broker. It is not a broker, a bank or an adviser, and it does not predict prices.

How does it work?

You choose the markets, the risk per trade (1% to 5% of your account) and your stop-loss and take-profit levels. When your conditions are met, the software sends an order with the stop attached and the broker executes it. You can press Halt Execution at any time to stop new orders. Positions that are already open stay with the broker.

Who holds my money?

Your executing broker holds it, in your account with that broker and under its licence. brunevo never receives your deposit and cannot withdraw from your account. If a broker fails, what you recover depends on its regulator and any compensation scheme that applies to you, so ask the broker before you deposit.

What does it cost?

The software and sign-up cost £0. Trading costs go to the broker: mainly the spread, plus overnight financing where it applies. We charge no withdrawal fee. The cost table on this page lists every line, and the broker's own fee schedule has the detail.

What is the minimum deposit?

Opening a broker account needs a deposit from $250 AUD (or £250 GBP / €250 EUR / $250 CAD / $250 NZD / $250 SGD). It is your own money and it is at risk.

How do withdrawals work?

You request a withdrawal in your broker account. The broker normally reviews it within 24 business hours, and money usually clears in 1 to 3 business days. We apply no lock-up, holdback or withdrawal fee. The broker's terms govern the rest.

Can I lose more than I deposit?

It depends on the product, the broker and your country. Some brokers protect retail clients from negative balances, but not all do. A price gap can also make a loss larger than you planned. Read the broker's terms on negative-balance protection before you deposit.

How can I lose money?

Easily. A price can move against you, jump past your stop, or cost you spread and financing on every trade. A rule that fitted old prices can fail on new ones, and automation repeats a mistake quickly. The Risk Disclosure explains each of these in plain words.

Is my data secure?

We collect only your name, email address and phone number, plus a one-way hash of your IP address for the consent record. Our site uses TLS 1.3, forms are rate-limited, and records are kept outside the public web folder. No system is perfectly secure, and we never ask for passwords or bank details on this site.

Do I pay tax on trading?

We cannot give tax advice. Tax on trading depends on your country and your circumstances, and both profits and losses can have tax effects. Speak to a qualified adviser.

How are you paid?

Partner brokers pay us rebates and referral fees when someone opens a live account. The broker pays us, and we do not charge you a separate fee. It is still a conflict of interest, because we gain when you register, so read our About page and weigh it.

Is brunevo a scam? Is it legitimate?

We are a registered UK company with a public record you can check, and we publish our costs, our earnings model and the risks. Being legitimate does not make trading safe: most retail CFD accounts lose money. Our review page lists what to check, and says plainly that it is not independent.

Do I need experience?

No, but you should understand what a stop-loss, a spread and gearing are before you risk real money. This site explains each in plain words. Start with the lowest risk setting and use only money you can afford to lose.

How do I log in, and how do I spot fake sites?

Use only the official addresses in the footer: brunevo.co.uk and www.brunevo.co.uk. Anything else, on any extension, is not us. We will never ask you to send crypto, install remote-access software or pay a fee to withdraw. Report copies to [email protected].

Is it available in my country?

Whether you can use brunevo depends on where you are. Access is restricted in some countries, and the list may change. Where trading is offered, it is only through an executing broker licensed for your country. If we cannot offer you the service, you will not be able to reach the site or join the list.

How do I complain?

Email [email protected]. We acknowledge formally within 48 business hours. Complaints about trading or an account may also need to go to your broker and its ombudsman or dispute scheme. The Contact page has the full process.
